A stop at the State Capitol Building in Bismarck, North Dakota

Welcome to North Dakota!

Since we were near Bismarck and didn't know when we ever would be again we decided to stop by the State Capitol Building.  It was very different then other ones we've been to in the past. Apparently, the original building burnt down in 1930 and was rebuilt during the depression.  The view from the 18th (there are 19 floors total) floor was pretty cool.

Headed to Eden, South Dakota with a few stops in between

After a rough, stormy night we had a hearty hometown breakfast at the Philip Livestock Auction.  It took us two trips through town and finally we gave up and asked someone at the gas station where a breakfast spot was.  Hard to locate but well worth it.  Q was wondering why only grandma and grandpas were eating there.

We headed to Pierre next to cross off another state capitol building.

Next stop:  Eden, South Dakota!

A visit to the State Capitol: Cheyenne, Wyoming

Our exciting day trip to Cheyenne began with a visit to the State Capitol building.  Since we saw the Denver one earlier in the summer we thought we should take a peek at this one as well since it's so close.  We all agreed that the Denver one was nicer but that's not to say that this one shouldn't be visited as well.
