Denver Bronco Fan Day in Fort Collins

The Old Town Fort Collins Library was hosting the Bronco Fan Day this morning.  Before we had even made it inside we'd had a photo op with the library mascots.
While we were waiting in line Ronald McDonald showed up!
After about 35-40 minutes in line we were able to see three current players:  Virgil Green, Mitch Unrein, and Malik Jackson.

The stop wouldn't have been complete without two Bronco cheerleaders (Kendal, Emily).
We even managed a photo op with Miles the mascot!
Go Broncos!!!

Indoor Football...who knew?

My husband won a four pack of tickets to see the Colorado Ice play the Tri City Fever (Kennwick, Washington...actually had to research this) this weekend.  We had a good time watching some football on a snowy, blustery afternoon.  As you can see not too many other people were doing this!

My son has to take Flat Stanley places for two weeks and write about them in a journal.  He's experienced some exciting things lately!

We left after halftime due to hunger issues (the kids) and the fact that this game is just as long as regular football!  My recommendation to the league would be to play speed football!  It would be much more exciting for the fans!  The score was 38-6 when we left and looks like it ended up at 55-28 for the Ice.  Guess things were just warming up when we left!

Family time!

We had the wonderful opportunity to spend a day with my niece this week.  Luckily, she came out skiing for her spring break and was able to spend the night at our house.  My children hadn't seen her in awhile and they loved getting to spend time with her and her boyfriend!  We took a quick walk in old town after soccer on Saturday.
